OUR MISSION
Massachusetts Sober Housing Corporation (MSHC) mission is to provide affordable sober housing for individuals in recovery from alcohol and other drug addiction.
The housing model we utilize is Oxford House, which has been the most successful nationwide sober housing model and which is based on three simple principles:
1. The house must be self-run on a democratic basis.
2. The house must be financially self-supported.
3. Any resident who drinks alcohol or uses drugs must be immediately expelled.
Massachusetts Sober Housing Corporation has three Oxford houses throughout Massachusetts for men in recovery to live in comfortable, affordable houses in good neighborhoods and to benefit from the peer support of others in recovery that is so important to maintaining sobriety.
